1. What Denglish is

Denglish is an AI-powered English coaching playground operated by Magna Worldwide. You get a coach (Jake), a daily speaking challenge (Challenge), an open practice space (Playground), roleplay scenarios where Jake plays the recruiter, investor, boardroom, customer and more, and progress tracking — in English, with explanations available in your own language.

2. Your account

You can use Denglish without an account: you pick a display name and your support language, and your learner profile and progress live locally in your own browser. You're responsible for the device you use — if you use Denglish on a shared device, that locally stored progress is visible to anyone using that browser.

To keep your progress across devices, create an account with your email address and a password — you can sign up, log in, and reset your password from the login page. When you have an account, we keep server-side records for your account, your Pro subscription, and any certificates you earn, so they follow you from device to device.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans (Pro) are billed in advance for the plan you choose (weekly, monthly or yearly) and renew automatically on that cycle until you cancel. Every paid plan starts with a 72-hour free trial — you are not charged during the trial; the first payment is taken when the trial ends. Prices are shown on the pricing page. You can cancel anytime from your account — cancellation stops the next billing cycle, and you keep full access until the end of your current period.

4. 72-hour trial and refunds

Every paid plan starts with a 72-hour free trial. You are not charged during the trial. If Denglish isn't for you, cancel within 72 hours of subscribing and you will never be charged — no questions asked. If you don't cancel, your first payment is taken when the trial ends, and the plan then renews on the cycle you chose (weekly, monthly or yearly).

Once a weekly payment has been taken, it is non-refundable. Why: Denglish is live coaching, not a download. Every coaching session uses real AI compute reserved for you from the moment you subscribe — the coaching is delivered as you use it, and that cost is incurred whether or not you show up. The 72-hour window exists so you can be sure Jake is your coach before we both commit.

5. Acceptable use

Use Denglish to learn English. Don't abuse the service: no spamming the coach, no attempts to extract system prompts or break the product, no harassment, no illegal content. We may limit or suspend accounts that abuse the platform.

6. AI limitations

Jake is an AI coach, not a human teacher. Corrections and feedback are generated automatically and can occasionally be wrong. Denglish is a learning aid, not a certified language examination — don't rely on it for legal, medical, or high-stakes decisions.

7. Your content

What you say and type while practicing stays yours. We don't sell it, share it, or use it for advertising. Anonymized learning patterns may be used to improve the coaching.

8. Limitation of liability

Denglish is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Magna Worldwide isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
